Timothy Neesam (gumshoephotos@rogers.com) was born in Bridgend, Wales, emigrating with his family from Ireland to Canada in 1972. 

Timothy's photography has enjoyed a wide audience through a variety of leading publications, ranging from the Toronto Starand the Architect's Newspaper to the Indian Express and, most recently, Germany's Geo Magazine. He is a contributor to the UK-published coffee-table book The Beauty of Decay, and his work has appeared on the websites of Washington State University and Colorado State University. Timothy's images have also been used in games developed by Menara Games and Gamenauts, Inc.

He has exhibited in the U.S. U.K. and Canada, including the Toronto photography festival Contact since 2003, and is a participant in the widely-successful annual Heritage Toronto project Building Storeys. In November 2010 his work was featured in an exhibit of urban exploration architectural photography at Resistance Gallery in London, England. 

Timothy is a member of the News Photographers Association of Canada, Toronto's Gallery 44 Centre for Contemporary Photography, the Riverdale Artists' Network, and the urban photography collective Hangman 7.

Timothy has worked as a producer and director on a wide range of arts and entertainment projects for CBC Radio, CBC Radio 3. He is the senior photo editor for CBC News.ca.
